The perfect wedding location in Kitzbühel

I am not a mountain person. Meaning... if I have to choose between going to the seaside, lying for hours on the beach, and climbing the mountains, I will definitely choose blue :) Yes, by that I mean the sea. But there are certain contexts when you cannot miss a mountain trip. For example, when you know you're gonna have those cosy mornings with a hot cup of coffee on the porch of a charming  country house, not getting enough of the dreamy landscapes in front of you.

And then there is the situation when you have a business trip or a team building in one of these gorgeous locations that you wouldn't miss for the world and you think... TGIAWP! THANK GOD I'M A WEDDING PLANNER smiley Yep, last Thursday, September 18, 2014, we had the 4th meetup of the Union of Professional Austrian Wedding Planners (VaöHP) in Kitzbühel. I had never been there before, had just heard some rumours about the region being extremely beautiful, but fancy and expensive. Well... it is all of these things put together, but the whole effort was worth it.

We were hosted in Austria's Leading Lifestyle Resort (World Travel Award 2013 and 2014), Austria's Best Ski Hotel 2013 (World Ski Awards 2013) - A-Rosa. Having its origins (and more hotels) in Germany, the hotel concept is definitely one of the most exhaustive I've ever seen: comfortable rooms, diverse culinary options (including a restaurant with 3 toques/Hauben in the Gault Millau guide 2013 and having Andreas Senn with a Five-Star-Diamond Award 2013 as a cook in the Gourmet
Restaurant Heimatliebe), numerous fitness and spa options, a golf field and a big room dedicated to children's fun.

If you're thinking of celebrating your wedding there, it is absolutely the place to be: you have wonderful personnel willing to support you in finding the best option, you have enormous indoor spaces for a ceremony, a wedding reception or dinner party and a perfect outdoor setting, surrounded by the Alps and really fresh air :)

Another positive aspect is that you are not bound to certain vendors there, and the hotel design allows you to create pretty much any atmosphere that you can think of with a proper Event Design partner as Cup of Roses :)

It was again a great opportunity to network with my colleagues in the union, cause nothing compares to learning from each other's experince. Now, back to planning my next projects and waiting for the symposium organized by the Union of Professional Austrian Wedding Planners in collaboration with the Austrian Economic Chamber, at Schloss Fuschl, Salzburg, on November 19.

Many thanks to & happy to be a member of:

Wishing you a wonderful week, yours truly,
